Within the Temple of Apollo

These photos were taken at the 1998 Apollo workshop. They show the Golden Temple of Apollo, and some of the Altars within the adytum, with offerings of fruit and flowers on each golden draped surface.

Some of the Stations of the Sun: twelve altars, surrounding the Adytum, each with a banner of gold, upon which was a symbol of the sun.  Beneath each banner, a small altar, draped in gold, and laid with flowers, fruit and incense.

The Temple of Apollo was a wonderful and enriching experience. There were four rituals, held at the appropriate time of day: Dawn, Noon, Sunset and Midnight. Each day, people were assigned to maintain all the altars and the Adytum.
